[A small 4th wall break for anyone who is stumbling across this randomly since this is a public platform: this is a creative project I made for college, and isn't an ARG or anything like that. Of the cited accounts, the only one with any veracity is the original newspaper-published letter reporting a haunting in Woodstock, which was the original inspiration for this project. Everything else regarding this is a complete work of fiction (and not an interactive one, I promise). Also, yes, Woodstock, CT is a real place, and so is Roseland Cottage, though, as far as I'm aware, they aren't actually haunted in this manner. If you're enrolled in an institution with access to early American newspaper archives you might be able to locate the article that inspired this. Thank you!]
